In this post, we'll take you through each step, highlighting the meticulous approach we take to ensure your home's duct system is cleaned to the highest standards.
Step 1: Tailored Inspection
Every house has a unique duct system, and our process begins with a detailed inspection. We identify access points, vacuum connection points, and start and finish locations to create a customized plan for your home.
Step 2: Furnace Shutdown
To ensure safety and effective cleaning, we turn off the furnace unit before proceeding with the cleaning process.
Step 3: Sealing Vents
All supply and return vents are sealed to create a controlled environment for optimal cleaning efficiency.
Step 4: Zoning and Separation
We use zoning bags and duct separators to protect A/C coils and enhance suction in the specific area where work is being performed.
Step 5: Placing the Return Part Under Negative Pressure
We create an access opening in the return main duct line and connect the duct-vacuum, placing the entire return system under negative pressure.
Step 6: Cleaning the Return Part
Each return vent is individually cleaned and air-swept using air-whip systems. The full length of the return main duct line is thoroughly brushed, air-swept, and vacuumed.
Step 7: Placing the Supply Part Under Negative Pressure
An access opening is created in the supply main duct line, and the duct-vacuum is connected, placing the entire supply system under negative pressure.
Step 8: Cleaning the Supply Part
Each supply air vent is opened, brushed, and air-swept individually. The full length of the supply main duct line is meticulously cleaned.
Step 9: Patching and Sealing
Access openings are carefully patched and sealed to restore the integrity of your duct system.
Step 10: Furnace Inspection
We clean and inspect the furnace unit to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
Step 11: Duct&Dryer Pros Exclusive
Setting ourselves apart from the rest, we go the extra mile. Once the entire system is cleaned to the highest standards, we unseal all return vents while keeping supply vents sealed. The furnace fan is turned on, and each supply air vent is re-cleaned using a vacuum unit, the furnace unit's air flow, air-whip, and clear-dome duct cleaning systems.
